About One Cool Thing
One Cool Thing is a podcast speaking with people in and around videogames about One Cool Thing not from games which is really fascinating them at the moment. One of the founding principles of Die Gute Fabrik is interdisciplinarity - collaborating with people from other art forms to bring fresh ideas to video games. And that’s also what’s at the heart of this podcast series: what not from games is shaping how people think about making games right now?
About This Episode
On this episode we meet Lisy Kane who chats to Hannah Nicklin about being in a band.
Lisy Kane is a Melbourne-based videogame producer and co-founder of Girl Geek Academy, a social enterprise set up to achieve (trans and nb inclusive) gender equality in the tech industry.
As a producer, Lisy made a huge impact as a Production Director at League of Geeks (who mostly recently released Armello in 2019, and recently announced Jumplight Odyssey). She has since moved to running production initiatives for Kelper Interactive, which is the new publishing arm of Kowloon Nights.
