We’re pleased to announce that our party game Johann Sebastian Joust is one of the ten games chosen for this year’s PAX 10 showcase at PAX Prime. Hooray!
I’ll be flying out to Seattle to run the game on the showfloor. If you’ll be there too, stop by to say hello and play a round!
I’m very excited about this opportunity to bring the game to such a large gaming convention. I was at PAX East in Boston this year, and had a blast showing Joust there. I even ran 12-player Joust, as well as a secret showing of “Dark Joust” – a mod played in pitch darkness! I’m not sure if I’ll have ample space and/or access to a dark and empty conference room this time around, but I’ll see what I can do.
I’m also excited to return to Seattle! I lived there for part of 2006 and miss it dearly. You can be sure that I’ll stage a few rounds of Joust at my favorite spot in the city – the very scenic Kerry Park (pictured above). Stay tuned to our Twitter feed for more announcements.
